A neutral stance (rake between -0.5\u00b0 and +0.5\u00b0) is ideal in surf foiling or wingfoiling on flat water to optimize takeoff, relaunches, and pumping. A slightly positive stance (rake between +0.5\u00b0 and +1.5\u00b0) is beneficial in wingfoiling on choppy water or in strong winds to enhance comfort and reduce touch downs.
