Shims for stabilizer adjustment – AFS Foil (Performer, Silk, Evo, Enduro, etc.).
The shims are supplied in PAIRS.
These shims are designed to be placed at the mounting interface, between the fuselage and the stabilizer.
AFS stabilizer shims are now symmetrical and can therefore be used in either the + or – direction, depending on the desired setting.
- Placing the thickest part of the shim under the front screw gives more front foot pressure.
- Placing the thickest part of the shim under the rear screw gives less front foot pressure.
3D printed from a relatively flexible but incompressible material, the shims will not break when bent.
