Rake shims for WING FOIL – Made using 3D printing
– Pack of 3 shims : 0.5°/1.0°/1.5°
– Pack of 2 shims : 0.8°/1.5°
– 1 shim of your choice from: 1.0°/1.5°
– 1 shim with custom angle (max 2.0°) / To be specified by email when ordering
IMPORTANT :
– The “+” shims increase your rake: you will be more “nose up”, the nose will be higher when sailing.
– The “-” shims reduce the rake: you will be more “nose down”, the nose will be lower when sailing.
– For symmetrical plates, the shims are reversible so there is no difference between the “-” and “+” shims.
– The rake shim has a certain thickness (7mm for 1.5° shims), remember to check the size of your original screws (long enough?). The article “4 screws M8X40” or “4 screws M6x40” from the shop may be useful to you.
– Position the smooth side of the shim on the hull side – the print marks on the other side could leave marks.
– Maximum operating temperature: 60°C / Be careful when storing in vehicles in direct sunlight.
