Rake shims for WING FOIL – Made with 3D printing
IMPORTANT :
The “+” shims increase your rake: you’ll ride more “nose up,” with the nose higher on the water.
The “–” shims decrease your rake: you’ll ride more “nose down,” with the nose lower on the water.
Rake shims have a certain thickness (7 mm for 1.5° shims), so make sure your original screws are long enough — the “4 M8x40 screws” or “4 M6x40 screws” available in the shop may be useful.
Place the smooth side of the shim against the board hull — the print lines on the other side could leave marks.
