Rake shims for WING FOIL – 3D printed.
– Pack of 3 shims : 0.5°/1.0°/1.5°
– Pack of 2 shims : 0.8°/1.5°
– 1 shim of your choice: 1.0° or 1.5°
– 1 custom-angle shim (max 2.0°) / To be specified by email when ordering
IMPORTANT :
– The “+” shims increase your rake: you’ll ride with a higher nose (“nose up”) on the water.
– The “–” shims decrease your rake: you’ll ride with a lower nose (“nose down”) on the water.
– For symmetrical base plates, the shims are reversible, so there’s no difference between the “–” and “+” shims.
– The rake shim has a certain thickness (7mm for 1.5° shims), so make sure your original screws are long enough. The “4 x M8X40 screws” or “4 x M6x40 screws” items in the shop may be useful.
– Place the smooth side of the shim against the board hull – the print marks on the other side could leave marks.
– Maximum operating temperature: 60°C / Be careful when storing in vehicles under direct sunlight.
