The MAKO GLIDE V2 is the ultimate stabilizer for Down-wind, Dock-Start, Sup-Foil, Freefly and Surf foil.
Slimmer, more balanced and stiffer than the V1 thanks to its carbon construction, this Mako Glide V2 is a major evolution and a unique stab on the market.
It combines all the advantages of a High Aspect stabilizer : more lift with less surface area, and more glide. It allows you to go down in size while maintaining pressure and efficiency, without being elitist or unforgiving at low speeds.
We have maintained chord thickness at the center, which ensures pressure, longitudinal stability, easy low-speed relaunchs without unexpected stalling, and a propulsive pump with minimal effort.
From the first third, the chord drastically reduces to offer an unmatched lift-to-glide ratio with very low drag, all with a moderate wingspan, which, despite appearances, gives this new Mako Glide V2 excellent carving capabilities.
Important: for WINGFOILING, this stabilizer is perfectly suited, offering a good cruising speed and much better stability than the Mako Glide V1 as the speed increases!
The MAKO GLIDE is available in 4 sizes :
120 : 35 cm wingspan
130: 37 cm wingspan
145: 39 cm wingspan
160: 39 cm wingspan (with more rope than the 145)
For size selection: 120 equals 140 V1 / 130 equals 155 V1 / 145 equals 170 V1 / 160 equals 185 V1.
Kparts stabilizers have a flat area on both sides, enabling them to be mounted above the fuselage (AXIS, FONE, CABRINHA etc) and below (TAKUMA, AFS, ARMSTRONG etc). The rear hole is oblong to allow a mounting distance of 30 to 35mm, depending on the brand.
Each stabilizer comes with a cover, a set of shims to match your foil (choose from the drop-down menu) and 2 longer screws.
The wedge set you choose allows you to adapt all KPARTS stabs to your foil by adjusting the angle to your needs.

Great for supfoil
I bought the Glide V2 to combine with my AFS Enduro 1300. Mainly to supfoil, Sup DW and occasionally light weather wing.
For supfoil, I really like the stab: it turns shorter than the standard, good glide and feels trustworthy.
I haven’t been able to Downwind yet, but the paddle ups on mini bumps gave all the confidence for lower speeds.
With wingfishing, I do notice that the Stab flexes more and twists a bit as the standard. So there seems to be a max speed at which the Stab does very well (for me up to 30-32km p/h), but above that it has a bit more difficulty with my 97kg on it.
Very happy with it, but would ideally have the stab even stiffer.

Fast! Great Pump!
Phenomenal. An excellent option to add to the Ultra 750 for speed, turning, pump or Silk 1050 for speed, glide, and pump. Both foils are notably faster and pump better on the Glide v2 120. The smaller Silks also get great speed, glide, pump upgrades but they lose a lot in the turns so choose your days wisely with the smaller foils. I’ll have to order a Mako Carve to try on them!
