Rake shims for WING FOIL – 3D printed
Since there are different versions of ALU plates from FONE, please check—using the picture—that the shim has the same outline as your plate. If you’re unsure, just contact me.
– Pack of 3 shims: 0.5°/1.0°/1.5°
– Pack of 2 shims : 0.8°/1.5°
Single shim: Choose between 1.0° and 1.5°
1 custom angle shim (up to 2.0°) / Please specify by email when ordering
IMPORTANT :
The “+” shims increase your rake: you’ll ride with a higher nose (more “nose up”) while foiling.
The “–” shims decrease your rake: you’ll ride with a lower nose (“nose down”) on the water.
The “–” shims decrease your rake: you’ll ride with a lower nose (“nose down”) on the water.
The rake shim has a certain thickness (7 mm for the 1.5° shims). Make sure your original screws are long enough. The “4 x M8x40 screws” or “4 x M6x40 screws” available in the shop might be useful.
Place the smooth side of the shim against the board – the 3D print marks on the other side could leave marks.
Maximum operating temperature: 60°C / Be careful when storing in vehicles exposed to direct sunlight.
