The MAKO CARVE PRO is an evolution of the MAKO CARVE V2, designed to go even further in terms of fineness, glide, and overall efficiency.
A total of 18 prototypes were required to develop these 3 new MAKO CARVE PRO sizes. By significantly refining the profiles, the goal was to find the perfect balance between lift, longitudinal balance, and surf-glide feel.
With less chord at the center and a significantly increased overall fineness, this evolution gives the MAKO CARVE PRO better glide and superior glide & pumping efficiency compared to the V2, while retaining support at low speed, and doing so with less surface area.
Pitch (longitudinal) stability has also been improved, allowing higher speeds to be reached while maintaining control in powerful waves.
Maneuverability remains at the heart of the design for this new MAKO CARVE PRO range: the two smaller sizes (XS and S) are radical and retain a low aspect ratio for maximum maneuverability.
π New: Sizes M and L are actually hybrids between the Mako Carve and Glide, designed for riders looking for a compromise between these two models. They combine the ease of a Mako Glide with very good maneuverability for versatile riding, across all front wing sizes and all disciplines. They are a relevant choice for surf foil in small to medium conditions, parawing, and freeride wingfoil.
The MAKO CARVE PRO is available in 4 sizes π:
- XS: 28.5 cm wingspan β 115 cmΒ²
- S: 31.5 cm wingspan β 125 cmΒ²
- M : 35 cm wingspan β 130 cmΒ²
- L : 37 cm wingspan β 145 cmΒ²
The equivalent of the XS, in terms of lift and maneuverability, is the Mako Carve V2 – 130.
The equivalent of the S, in terms of lift and maneuverability, is the Mako Carve V2 – 140.
βοΈ UHM CARBON construction
The construction also evolves, with a stabilizer molded in Ultra High Modulus (UHM) carbon. This layup provides excellent stiffness, despite a very thin profile, and a very direct feel, with no stalls related to stabilizer flex. You can push on it!
This construction, specific to our new 2026 stabilizers, offers one of the highest stiffness-to-fineness ratios on the market π
New feature β 2026 stabilizer range
The 2026 stabilizers integrate a small ramp at the front of the stabilizer, directly molded in, intended for bottom mount setups (under the fuselage).
This detail improves water flow at the stabilizer entry, limits high-speed disturbances, and further optimizes glide.
This evolution is specific to bottom mount setups.
In top mount (Allure, Axis, Cabrinha, etc.), the mounting remains similar to the Mako Carve V2.
IMPORTANT: The Mako Glide & Carve PRO have countersinks for the screws on one side only. Itβs up to you to choose the mounting orientation you prefer: BOTTOM MOUNT or TOP MOUNT.
Compatibility & mounting π§
KPARTS stabilizers feature a flat area on both sides, allowing mounting:

above the fuselage (Axis, F-One, Cabrinha, etc.),

OR β under the fuselage (Takuma, AFS, Armstrong, etc.).
The rear slotted hole allows a mounting spacing of 30 to 35 mm, depending on the brand π
Each stabilizer is supplied with:

a felt protective cover

a shim set matching your foil (to be selected from the dropdown menu).

2 M6 screws
The shim set allows all KPARTS stabilizers to be adapted to your foil, while adjusting the angle to suit your needs.
The adapter shims are produced using 3D printing (PETG).

Je suis passé du makot Carve v2 130 au mako carve pro XS, et ils sont très differents. Le carve pro est plus cohérent avec la Skal, plus précis, pumping et glide plus pur, et maniabilité toujours aussi bonne mais peut etre moins vive.
Une superbe rΓ©ussite je le mets sur ma 690 et la 990 des que quelques vagues font leur apparition π
(Glide pro sinon mais mn coup de coeur est le carve)

En possession du carve pro S sur un set full Kparts mat slim 85 skal 570 et 840, fuselage titane π€©, une Εuvre dβart en passant, pour usage wing et 90 kg, jβai pu essayer le XS qui dΓ©bride encore plus mais pour mon poids cβest un peu tout much, et le gain par rapport Γ plus dβinstabilitΓ© est moins bonβ¦pour un plus lΓ©ger le XS est sΓ»rement un must have!
Le S renvoie pas mal de puissance et conserve et un trΓ¨s bon carving, la diffΓ©rence entre position avancΓ©e et reculΓ©e est nette, donc en fonction de la stabilitΓ© ou du carving qui est choisi, jβadapte avec les conditions du jour!
Jβavais essayΓ© un glide 140 je crois sur du armstrong, le renvoi Γ©tait fou, lΓ cβest forcΓ©ment un cran en dessous mais le glide reste excellent et on gagne trΓ¨s clairement en carve!!!
En rΓ©sumΓ© cβest un stab trΓ¨s trΓ¨s polyvalent qui (pour lβinstant) reste mon seul et unique, que ce soit de la 570 Γ la 840 voire plus gros!!!

Je viens du glide V2 130, puis 120, et du carve v2 140. Bonhomme d’un bon 75kg avec une utilisation surf sur vagues de rΓ©cif et wing en lagon Γ l’arriΓ¨re d’un enduro 700 montΓ© sur fuselage court.
Je compare surtout au carve 140 que j’utilisais le plus pour sa mania. J’avais peur de perdre fort en plage basse en rΓ©duisant de 25 en taille. Je trouve Γ peu de chose prΓ¨s le mΓͺme pumping que le carve 140, je ressens moins de support au pied arriΓ¨re mais plus de vitesse (et elle se conserve), la perte en plage basse m’affecte trΓ¨s peu. La vitesse est vraiment plus dΓ©bridΓ©e et la mania passe quelques crans au dessus Γ©galement. Un vrai rΓ©gal une fois habituΓ©.

Encore une Γ©volution avec c est Stab . Je suis passΓ© du mako glide v2 130 et Carve v2 140 au mako carve pro M , pour une utilisation principalement Surffoil.
Je le compare plus au glide 130 car le carve v2 reste meilleur en carving pur. Par contre ce carve pro M a une grosse plage basse, une super projection au pumping et un confort supΓ©rieur au glide v2 en carving .

fan du XS que je place un peu Γ toutes les saucesβ¦.des ailes de 690 Γ 990β¦.de la mania c est sur mais surtout de la tenue dans les turns qui apporte du confort et donc de la facultΓ© d exΓ©cution..un belle Γ©volution par rapport au carve v2, qui garde de intΓ©rΓͺt mais pour du pur carvingβ¦.

Encore une fois Antonin rΓ©alise la quadrature du cercle avec ce stab. Je suis passΓ© du Carve v2 140 au Carvo Pro XS 115, pour l’associer principalement Γ ma bonne vieille Kujira 980 en wing en rade de Brest.
J’ai l’impression de gagner beaucoup en mania en ne perdant rien en contrΓ΄le, et un tout petit peu en plage basse. Quand la houle est puissante, ce petit stab est un atout fort apprΓ©ciable!
