With its 13.5 aspect ratio (14.4 for the 680, 16.1 for the 560), the AROS is a wing designed to excel in all downwind-oriented disciplines: Freefly or lightwind wingfoiling, parawing, and prone downwind.
Its distinctive outline, in the same spirit as the SKAL, provides excellent longitudinal stability. But with its higher aspect ratio, the AROS delivers significantly greater glide and pumping efficiency, while maintaining enough roll freedom to transition from rail to rail despite its large wingspan.

Étonnante cette 830 !!!! testée avec le glide pro et le XS carve en para, un glide de fou et toujours cette vitesse qui permet de ne jamais saturer, mais agréablement surpris par sa mania, je pensais être bcp plus vérouiller , une belle réussite merci Antonin….

J’ai pu faire 3-4 sessions en aros 980 et Stab Mako Glide Pro 120, sur fuselage afs (mat afs skinny 85). 80 kilos, en wing et parawing downwind, je suis habituellement en afs 1000 evoha / uglide 41. Bah là on est quand même un cran au-dessus! ça glide plus, ça va plus vite, sensation de glisse bien meilleure, glisse « fine » sans bruit, toute en douceur. Mania meilleure, très bien pour une aile de 1m15 , bien pour une aile de downwind. Super plage basse dès que l’on ralenti…clairement une arme pour le light en wing ou en downwind pagaie en vent light! L’ensemble est super sain, super comportement de la frontwing en surface aussi…bref j’a pas trouvé beaucoup de défauts 😁
Pour un mec de 80/90 kilos qui veux plus poser en freefly c’est parfait.
Faut un mat bien raide par contre, car les 1m15 lui tire pas mal dessus!
